Support the NP Comprehensive Framework Fund
Nurse practitioners (NPs) are an essential part of healthcare delivery in British Columbia. As the profession grows, BC needs a consistent and sustainable compensation framework that reflects the unique role of NPs and makes the care they provide more accessible.
NPs have given Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of BC, their professional association, a mandate to pursue a comprehensive compensation framework, sometimes referred to as a Main Agreement, with the Government of British Columbia.
To move forward with developing and negotiating this type of agreement, NNPBC has established the NP Comprehensive Framework Fund. This voluntary contribution fund helps support:
-
Legal and negotiation support
-
Policy analysis and advocacy
-
Paid NP leadership time for the NP Caucus and Negotiating Team
-
Staff coordination and operational support
-
The infrastructure required to negotiate, maintain, and advance this work

Contribute to the NP Comprehensive Framework Fund
NNPBC invites NPs and partners to contribute to the NP Comprehensive Framework Fund as part of a shared investment in the future of NP practice in BC.
NNPBC has identified $1,500 as the suggested annual contribution amount. The contribution year runs from April 1 to March 31, and NPs and partners are invited to contribute each year in support of this ongoing work.
There are different ways to contribute, depending on what works for you:
Contribute the full suggested amount: $1,500 annually
Support the fund at the suggested annual amount through one payment each year.
The $1,500 contribution is a one-time payment and will not renew automatically. If you wish to contribute again in a future year, you will need to make a new contribution.
Contribute monthly: $125/month, equivalent to $1,500 annually
Support the fund through ongoing monthly payments based on the suggested annual amount.
Monthly contributions continue until you choose to cancel them. You may cancel at any time.
Choose your contribution: Flexible amount
Make a contribution in an amount that works for you. There is no minimum or maximum contribution. Flexible contributions can be made once or more than once throughout the year.
A receipt will be issued for all contributions made to the NP Comprehensive Framework Fund. Please note that these receipts are provided as confirmation of your contribution and are not charitable tax receipts.
Contributions to the NP Comprehensive Framework Fund are voluntary and generally non-refundable. NNPBC will not provide refunds for contributions made in error, due to a change of mind, or where a contributor later chooses to discontinue their support of the Fund.
